The SQYIC project was an opportunity for us to meet many different people and to have enriching discussion with the town representatives and also with the neighbouring towns. Since the very beginning of our project, the Jewish and Christian communities have given their support because the project does not concern the Muslims only. That is why long and enriching discussions have been organised with Mr Mallet and Mr Mimouni. The Christian and Muslim women often organise meetings and they invite each other to their celebrations. The manager of the great project for Trappes and La Vaerrière was strongly implied in the project and after many debates and discussions he eventually said the centre was a positive thing.

 The mayor of Trappes also supported the project.

 The TMA was a constant support for the project ;

 The SAN asked for a cultural project to be settled after the birth of the centre ;

The local press often relates the evolution of the project ;

 ARTE will soon broadcast a documentary about the building of mosques in France and a large part of the documentary will mention the SQYIC project.

But the major and more effective support comes from the Muslims themselves. They have know understood their place in the French society and know how to act and what is to be done for a better understanding of Islam in France, that is why more than 900000 euros have been given by the inhabitants of Trappes!! Which proves their trust and eagerness to succeed. Any time there was a mobilisation, they have positively responded.

That awareness allowed the Muslims to improve their image in Trappes and it will allow them to go further and further in the future in cha Allah.
